Can calculations decide the fate of a game.....

Brilliant comeback by the master blaster and a good knock by the young gun.......everything went a waste .. thanx to the duckworth lewis system.

The same team which was in a good position scoring 172 runs for the lost of one wicket had lost the remaining 9 wickets for a matter of 29 runs, one of the worst slides ( 5th infact ) in the history of cricket and that too not long back, only a couple of days ago and this time they were pronounced winners.

Cricket is a game of uncertainity and suprise and wonder how the match officials most of whom were great players in the past, were convinced with the fact that west indies might have gone to win the match, considering the fact they were ahead of India, from the calculations they have made.

The same duckworth lewis system had caused many bad endings in the past and wonder how it is being accepted by the ICC......
